The Rotary Club of Bowen Island was presented with the Shelterbox Bronze Hero Award. It was received by the membership on January 11, 2018.

Bowen Rotary would like to recognize that this award was due entirely to the amazing and heartfelt generosity of the community of Bowen Islanders. Several times the Rotary Club has set up a demonstration Shelterbox tent and kit in response to some international need, and our islanders have always been quick to support this worthy cause.
