Grafton Commons shed — siding installed

Shed siding installed

The Rotary Club of Bowen Island (RCBI) has a project to work with Bowen Island Food Resilience Society (BIFS) to complete the construction of a shed at Grafton Commons. The purpose of the shed is to provide dry storage for seeds, gardening equipment and small parts for the proposed Greenhouse and associated irrigation equipment. It is anticipated that this project will also contribute to the education of Bowen Islanders and others about food resilience and regenerative agriculture. More about BIFS at https://www.bowenfoodresilience.ca/. This project is financially supported in part by RCBI and the Rotary Foundation.

Saturday, June 3 was a cool sunny day in the Grafton Commons. Rotarians Ross Patterson and Steven Trende were on the site completing the installation of the shed siding.
