The Rotary Club of Bowen Island is a member of Rotary International. Currently there are about 1.2 million Rotarians in the world. The club on Bowen Island is part of Rotary District 5040.
Meetings are usually held on Mondays at 7:30 PM, either at Artisan Eats or on Zoom. Sometimes meetings are held in other venues. Changes in the meeting schedule and location are normally announced on this website’s Home Page or on the Bowen Rotary Calendar page at this site.
If the topic of our meeting interests you, or you are interested in learning more about Rotary, please attend one of our meetings. This club welcomes all visitors. You will be welcome and, if you have any questions the members will be pleased to try to answer them.
Rotarians see themselves as People of Action. Although we have a small number of members, you can see some of the benefits they have achieved if you drive around Bowen Island. Please review our list of Projects, current and past, under the Projects tab at this website. Rotarians stand for Service Above Self. The members pay for the operation of the club, and all funds donated go to our works or to projects, and do not fund the club. We welcome your support and participation.
