Everything about Recycling & Composting

In 2005 Daniel  co-founded the Master Recycler Vancouver Vancouver program. This arose from his extensive experience working in waste planning, private recycling and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). He continues to co-facilitate this program to empower new and local waste reduction and prevention champions.

Daniel works with the board of the Society Promoting Environmental Conservation (SPEC) applying the sociology and psychology of behaviour change to help that organization to achieve its mission and vision.

Daniel comments:

I am thankful to be able to live and play and work on this beautiful land and I strive to live in a way to protect it for generations to come.

For the meeting on December 12th, Daniel promised to address any aspects recycling issues that concern Bowen Islanders. Visitors and Rotary members were encouraged to bring their questions. In addition to Rotarians,  representatives from the Bowen Island Recycling Depot (BIRD), Municipal Waste Management, The General Store, Knick Knack Nook, and more, were part of the assembly. There were many more questions than time permitted, and Daniel has agreed to return at some future time.
