Ross Patterson talks of travels

About the Speaker
- Ross Patterson, a member of the Rotary Club of Bowen Island. Ross and Catherine are celebrating 20 years on Bowen Island. (He commented that rumour has it, the first 25 are the hardest.) Sean and Teal are their children.
  
  Ross works on Bowen Island as a carpenter, renovator and caretaker. He enjoys family and friends, classic cars, food, gardening, good conversation, travel, and good red wine. (not necessarily in that order).
  
  Ross attended BCIT and received a Management Certificate and a Marketing Diploma. He met his wife while taking a Cabinet Making course at PVI now part of BCIT. Ross did time at Capilano College. (Don’t talk about first year sciences.)
  
  Ross has worked for the following companies: MacMillan Bloedel, Island Paper Mills, Globe Envelope, Coast Paper and CPE Systems. He has been Self Employed for 15 years.

Ross Patterson recently returned from a trip to Arizona. With highlights being Sedona and the Grand Canyon. He commented, “If I never have to see Las Vegas again, that would be OK.”

Ross will talk about his trip to Peru and Ecuador in 2011, highlighting Machu Piccu, and the Galapagos. Pics O’ Plenty.

Ross enjoys Travel. There are many places still on his bucket list — including tracing roots to
Alberta, Quebec, Scotland and Ireland.
