Chris Loat addresses the Rotary Club of Bowen Island

Chris Loat, Rotary Club of West Vancouver Sunrise,
addresses the Rotary Club of Bowen Island
Sept. 24, 2015

When the Rotary Club of Bowen Island has heard of disasters around the world that are being addressed by Shelterbox, the club has turned to the people of Bowen Island to support this program. Islanders have understood the need, and they have responded generously.

During this talk, Chris Loat, a Shelterbox Ambassador and member of the board of Shelterbox Canada, outlined the history of the Shelterbox program, and described how Shelterbox Canada operates with Rotary. In addition, he discussed the ongoing Shelterbox program around the world.

The talk was followed by a vigorous and enthusiastic question-and-answer period.
