Sri Lanka – The Great Tsunami

In 2004 Adam and his wife Mariana, travelled to Sri Lanka on a consulting assignment with the National Science Foundation of Sri Lanka. While they were there, the great tsunami occurred. While they themselves were not affected, they saw the results of the tsunami, and a year later, the great progress made by the Sri Lankans in recovering from this major tragedy. But the major benefit for Mariana and Adam was the opportunity to travel around Sri Lanka, see it from a Sri Lankan point of view, and fall in love with country.
